After making her debut on the big stage at last year’s Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival Tierra aka “Thin Ice” is back on the scene with a new single and music video “Island Culture”. The passionate performer has shown her love for
Bahamian music and has been making her way up in the local industry doing live performances at various venues and radio show appearances over the last few months. We caught up with Thin Ice to ask her about her new release where she said :-
“I was trying to show that the Bahamas has so much more to offer than thieves and rapists. The video consisted literally of close friends and tourist who were on the beach that heard the song and fell in love with it.”
Thin Ice says that 2018 will be a big year for her with the release of her visual album (that will include Island Culture) and upcoming collaborations with Judah Da Lion and Patrice Murrell.
I just want to bring back good meaningful music that you can’t help but move to.
