The conch is the unofficial national food of the Bahamas. But, due to over-fishing and the illegal removal of undersized conchs from our waters, the Bahamas is in danger of losing something that is a part of our very culture.
The Bahamas National Trust along with BTC and host of other sponsors came together to enlist the music community in the country for a music video styled PSA urging the public to preserve the conch before the “Conch Gone”.
The video produced and directed by Lavado Stubbs of Conch Boy Films features musical acts including Wendi, Dyson, Sketch, Bodine, Lady E, Ton Ash, Mdeez, Sammi Starr, Rik Carey, Chase Fernander, Fredrick Seymour and Fashawn.
