There’s someone special Patrice Murrell wants you to meet! HINT: His name is T.O.M, he says she’s the one and he calls her gorgeous!
The singer/songwriter recently dropped her brand new video for the infectious, dance worthy single that introduces us to the love of her life.
“T.O.M. is actually my husband Terrence Omar Murrell,” she told us.
“The song really takes you into the life of being an artist and being in love, going on dates and just cuttin’ up. The video is fun and different from others I’ve done but it shows me going on a date with T.O.M and while I’m in rehearsals and performing, getting those cute text messages from him and just reminiscing on our time spent together.”
The video was directed and produced by F.DoT and captures all the color, vibrant energy and storytelling we’re used to from his work. It also adds a comedic touch by casting funnyman SawyerBoy as Patrice’s love interest.
Patrice says she loves the fact that Bahamians are loving her new project and adds that the song and video really captures a snapshot of her real life romance with her T.O.M.
“He actually does message me while I’m at work and I do blush,” she says. “He actually just called me I told him I had to run. But I’m happy he gets it, when I say I have to go. He’s really supportive and has my back in this. So the video really does show a glimpse of what it is being married or in a relationship and balancing being an artist at the same time.”
