Sunday night’s football game between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants got a serious Bahamian invasion when the homegrown Grammy award winning group Baha Men performed at the MetLife Stadium during the halftime show. In fact, the group played a half hour pre-game set in the parking lot plus a two-song set during the halftime show on the field.
Since this isn’t the Superbowl, TV viewers weren’t treated to the performance, but thank goodness for social media! We searched for #bahamen on Instagram and were proud to scroll through the 15 second clips showing our boys in all their glory performing on the Bud Light stage! The group recently released its latest album, “Ride With Me,” being sold exclusively at Walmart and on all digital platforms. The Giants went on to win that game 27-20. But we think Baha Men were the real champs that night!
