New to the Bahamian musical scene, artist Rebecca launches her career with her new single and video “Best Friend’ featuring Bobo Ken produced by El Padrino (producer/artist). The video was shot and directed by local director FarrenoF at local boutique resort “A Stones Throw Away” and showcases the true beauty of The Bahamas with lush ocean scenic shots and serene views of our indigenous nature. This is the first of many pieces expected from Rebecca whose mix of reggae and island soul should blend right in to what is already happening on the regional musical landscape. Rebecca’s career started in the modeling business so she should already have a good idea of how the industry works, and should be ready to push to get her music out to the masses. We are impressed here at e-LIFE 242 because usually you hear the song before seeing a video, but in Rebecca’s case a simultaneous launched was a good idea since she is a new artist.
